Meet the Doctor

  • Dr. Melanie Cripps
    Dr. Melanie Cripps
    Chiropractor

Dr. Melanie Cripps grew up in Middle Tennessee. She received her bachelor’s degree at Tennessee State University while playing Division I softball. As a college athlete, Dr. Cripps suffered from daily headaches which hindered her performance on the field. After being prescribed a daily medication for her pain, she decided to try the natural approach of chiropractic. With a few adjustments, Dr. Cripps was pain-free, more energetic, and had better athletic performances. This inspired her dream for helping everyone she meets with the power of chiropractic healing. She attended Life University in Marietta, Ga for her Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Cripps is a current member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and a board member of the Smith County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Cripps loves animals and you may meet her German Shepard, Gus, in the office.

Dr. Cripps is married and together they have the unique blessing of a blended family.

    Chiropractor

Dr. Grove was born in a small town in Indiana. She grew up being regularly adjusted by the town chiropractor while playing soccer and basketball, riding horses, and participating in her church's youth group. She attended Purdue University where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree. She showed livestock with Purdue's Block and Bridle Club, coached a Special Olympics team, and joined the honors fraternity. Dr. Grove attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2018.  While at Palmer, she was active in both the Activator and Animal Chiropractic Clubs and worked in the school's radiology department. Dr. Grove completed her final semester internship under the same small town doc that adjusted her growing up.

After graduating from Palmer, Dr. Grove married her husband, Mike, who she met while at Purdue. Together they have lived in 3 states, traveled the country, and have 2 cats, Lily and Max, and a german shepherd, Gunther, whom they call their kids. In her spare time, Dr. Grove likes reading, hiking, traveling, and dog training.
