Bethany Walton
Director of Operations
Bethany is our director of operations. She keeps things running from behind the scenes. She is an Arizona native who moved to Tennessee in 2011. She studied at Pima Community College where she earned an associate’s degree in Business Administration. Bethany is a wife and mother of two boys. She enjoys kayaking and going to the dirt track with her husband.
Haley Penfield
Marketing Director
Haley is a Midwest native with roots also in Arizona. She has since landed in the wonderful green hills of Smith County with her husband Evan and dog Doozy. Haley graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and started doing marketing 2022. Haley enjoys swimming, rock climbing, and anything outdoors.
Emily Hoot
CTA and CLT
Emily Hoot is a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) and a Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT) at Carthage Family Chiropractic. She was born in Carthage but her parents were missionaries and moved to the Dominican Republic with Emily and her six brothers and two sisters. She and her family returned to the United States in 2011. Emily has been working for Carthage Family Chiropractic, LLC since January of 2019. Emily enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with her big family.
Bren Denney
Front Desk Team Lead
Bren is married to her best friend Austin and they have two amazing children. She grew up in Smith County and loves being close to all of her family. Bren is always ready for an adventure. She loves the ocean and going to the mountains.
Lana Borck
New Patient Coordinator
Born and raised in Michigan, Lana moved to Arizona after high school. She has chosen to make Smith County her home for the past 16 years. She has homeschooled for 34 years. Lana loves to spend time at the beach and in the mountains. Mostly she loves to have family dinners and holidays with her 16 children and 17 grandchildren.
Madison Carver
Front Desk Team Member
Madison was born and raised in Carthage, Tennessee. She married her wonderful husband Aaron in February. Madison will graduate from Cumberland University in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration. When she not at work you can find her visiting family or staying in with her husband.
Lauren Edde
Chiropractic Therapy Assistant
Lauren is a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) at Carthage Family Chiropractic. She was born and raised in Carthage, TN. She's always had a desire to work in the medical field and help people in anyway she can. She got her CNA in the summer of 2023 and began working on her CTA in the fall of 2023. Lauren enjoys being involved in her church, snowboarding, traveling, running, and shopping.
Charlie Savage
Billings Specialist
Charlie is from Jackson County but has lived in Carthage since 2014. She married her husband, Caleb, in 2015 and they have 3 children, 4 dogs, and some fish. If not at work you can find her reading her books or fishing with her husband and kids.
Gus Cripps
Office President
Gus is a German Shepherd. He is a part of our office staff. His daily schedule includes greeting patients, accepting treats, and taking naps. He loves all patients and children. In 2023 Gus was voted as President of Carthage Family Chiropractic. He serves our office well.
